Does andybody know the degree of difficulty for replacing the weatherstip attched to the back of ther door? Mine seems to have separated at the seam near the top. Is this any easy fix or something for a professional? Thanks! Matt

OK, now I am really **********. I know what seal he is talking about. My drivers side did it and then last week the passenger side. I have the extended warranty and I was told it is not covered! They are $280 per side! You can not just buy the seal. The seal is part of the outer stanchion (part #me7mx3-ad)....I have it still sitting here waiting to be installed.

So is it covered or not under extended warranty??

If you dont want to do what matthew howell did above, the correct fix is replacing the entire stanchion cover assembly (I just had this done under warranty on my 99). Then, since it looks like you have a 96 or 97 I believe you have to replace the glass too. Do a search on this subject. Tony Rickard posted something on this.
