Guess what the SRT price will be...

I called the SRT Reservation Hotline yesterday because the FAQ section on the web site says:

Answer: The final cost of the 2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10 has not been determined at this time. Vehicle cost information will be made available sometime shortly before the third quarter of 2002.

The person that answered the phone said that D/C marketing is still on track to make this date or, at the latest, early July so hopefully the wait won't be long!

I've emailed back and forth with a guy on ebay who is selling his.

He has set his price--83K.

He tells me that he's already paid for the car, and he'll give it to me for 83K.

He ALSO says that the price is indeed set. He did not tell me what msrp was, but since he'd take 83K for the SRT I'm guessing it's less than that.
