Gunmetal H-Spokes?

So I was looking at the car across the parking lot, after a long drive, and noticed the wheels were covered in brake dust. This, and the shadows, made the wheels look like gunmetal. I must say it looked awesome to me.
So I was wondering if anyone had done this and took pictures.

Too bad I didn't have my camera with me.

there are very cool looking dark chrome SRT rims out there. I don't know where they are from or what they are called but they look like what you are talking about.
