any other track ? Panoz is having a weekend at Road Atlanta April 13 & 14, is anybody planning on going or have been to one and can give some input. Thanks, Tony

Are you asking about a "drive your own car" track day or a Panoz school where you drive the GT RA school car? I have been through two of their schools have driven in their race series at Sebring, Road Atlanta, and Mosport. Road Atlanta is truly a classic and no matter how you approach it I would highly recommend it.

Tony, Bill Pemberton and I arrange a group of 24 people each year to attend a driving school somewhere warm during the winter each year. We have done this for 7 years running now. Panoz has been the school of choice (three days advanced road racing)for the past three years. That should say it all. And yes Atlanta is the premiere experience. These cars will help you with your Viper as the driving dynamics are similar.

I was fortunate enough to attend last year with Team Woodhouse at Sebring. Incredible experience with some great people. Sorry I couldn't make it this year but hope to invited back next!

The Track Days event is great fun on a great track. I'll be there April 14th in my Blue and White 97 GTS. Look me up !Chuck, while my mechanic was driving my car he lifted coming under the bridge and we did 3.5 spins down the hill stopping just 5 ft from the old pit wall abutment. Turn 12 takes BIG ones to drive flat out, but some of Pemberton's school group do it in the school cars- - not in mine !
