Has anyone else ordered the BC coilovers from Will at RSI in the past 6 months?

Hahahahaha...she ordered a carbon fiber turbo ***** and received a box with a rusty vibrator encrusted with shizzle, and a used ******.

Not his fault though because the secretary forgot to let the shipping gimp out of the box.

Call me old fashioned, but if he is in financial difficulty, shouldn't we all be supporting him? I just ordered a new hood from him as he is a contributing member of the viper community and I wish him every success. God knows these are financially trying times for everyone, and I don't believe bashing his business into destitution is the answer. I will get my hood just as sure as you will get your parts.
Hey 2easy, I'm still waiting on a tracking number from Will, haven't seen anything yet.

RSI is now...what we call here in Texas...in a state of "financial independence". That's when you can no longer borrow money from ANYONE.

After all this negative publicity, I'm actually thinking of buying a set of BC's...

they seem to still have no problem borrowing money from customers....after not shipping parts they just never pay it back

They used to make a killing on big engine builds, now it's parts sales. But it's totally justified because they are simply "relieving excited and uninformed Viper noobs from their disposable income". They are technically providing a "direct educational experience" to the customer now. It's a whole new business model.

It's obviously been a while since I took economics. The definitions and business models have clearly changed. I used to think that "profit" was defined as sales price minus cost + overhead. If the total cost of a product (cost to produce, store, ship, etc) is $5 and you sell it for $7, you made $2 profit. But if you can still sell the product for $7 without having actually made the product or ever shipped the product to the customer, look at how much more "profit" you can make!

I've been doing it wrong all this time.

normally with all this "friendly" nudging Will would be all over this thread. Because he has not posted in weeks Neo-Rambo needs to get in front of this mess or he will have definitely contributed to RSI's new business model.

You forgot about Econ 101.5......Order the product from the manufacturer, sell it for $7.00, deliver it to the customer but never pay the manufacturer. Number one reason a lot of vendors claim "they are out of stock" or "we are waiting on the manufacturer to deliver". Fact is, the manufacturer will not ship product until you pay the past dues you owe them and they put you on COD.

Unfortunately, too many manufacturers do not call out the delinquent vendors publicly so they actually look like the bad guy in the eyes of the consumer.

We're not talking about economics here. Will and Steve are performing "dickanomics". They both need to put their big boy pants on and take care of business.

I called Will two days ago and he said he will give me a tracking number today. I'm waiting on that tracking number. Hopefully I get one today.

I didn't realize I could have bought them from amazon for the same price practically. There are two different types though, 85.5 and the 97.5.

Here is the link to the 85.5: 85.5 BC Coilovers on Amazon Dodge Viper

Here is the link to the 97.5 :97.5 BC Coilovers on Amazon Dodge Viper

But it says 96-08 so I'm not sure if they know what they are selling. Thoughts?

WILL WHERE IS MY TRACKING NUMBER MAN!

Actually looks to me like it would be about half the price, considering you already paid for a set you have not gotten and will likely have to pay again to end up with only one set. I am sorry this is happening to you man, hope you get some resolution from RSI soon.

Thanks Mdeniz, I hope Will at RSI resolves this soon. Reputation is everything in this business and I just want my Coilovers or a Refund.

That seems to be a big part of the problem that has occurred with these shocks. From the big thread on VA, the 85.5 and 97.5 appear to relate to the spacing between the rear shock forks in mm. One being for Gen 2 and the other for Gen 3. I won't say which is which since I don't know if the related post is correct.
