Has anyone ever had damage from Reliable car carrier co. ?

I will be useing Reliable Transportation for the first time for VOI 9 but would like to know if anyone has ever received damage from them, to what extent, and how did they take care of it? Also, what will be the approx. cost round trip from Houston to Las Vegas or Atlanta? Thanks.

I shipped my car using them to Nashville. Trouble is the day they unloaded the car it was pouring rain, and you have to inspect the car at that time. There turned out to be some scratches in the front fender that looked like tie-down straps had rubbed, which I did not notice when the car was wet. It was not until I got it dried off that they were visible. Granted not severe damage, but the only way to really repair it is to re-clear the whole hood. Of course, they deny damaging it since I did not spot it at inspection time and I can't blame them for taking that stance. Moral of the story - carefully go over every inch of your car when you pick it up.

I have transported lots of Vipers for Viper owners Gary Grube VP for the IL VCA region to last years VOI, Underground racing in NC. I am the only one that handles the car from point A to point B in the chain of custody. The car does not sit in some yard for a week until the trailer is full and another truck hooks up to it.I don't stack cars only carry to at a time. And I deliver the cars in 2 to 4 days max. Like the airlines, this is a first class service. And I take care of my customers because I'm a Viper owner since 1995 myself and I understand my customers needs, do's and don'ts with this great American car. I sent you an email, but I just thought - with all the demands for transportation for voi 9 and from your area alone, and assuming you only have the one truck shown on your site, how could you pick mine up in Houston??

Reliable scratched up my car from VOI 7. Looked like someone dragged his fat butt across the hood and side. The driver said you can't avoid damage to expensive cars when shipped. Bull. Before I attempted to claim, went home and buffed out the scratches. However, would never use them again.

I agree Frank. If you take your time and pay attention on what you are doing everything should be fine with the car being transported. Accidents will happen but a lot of them can be avoided if you just take your time loading the vehicle. I only have one truck right now. But my company is a registered company and I am insured by Lloyds of London. And cater to a limited clientele. But I take care of all my customers one fine automobile at a time.

Thanks Frank for the post. You know there are some that have had no problems with Un-Reliable but MANY that have, and I wished more owners would post there problems with this site, but I am going to do my best to send viper owners I know to another company and put a dent in their voi 9 business. Thanks again for coming forward.

I've used Reliable twice, VOI-7 & VOI-8. I used them to ship to and from both VOIs'(4 times total). I never had any problems with them or the way my Viper was shipped. I'll use them again for VOI-9.
