Has anyone ever tried these bulbs?

Just curious if anyone has just replaced the bulbs. I'm EVENTUALLY going to upgrade to the HID kit but not right now due to other modifications in progress. Just curious if anyone has ever tried these cheap bulbs and if they made a difference? They are Xenon HID Headlight Bulbs. Anyone?

HOWEVER when ordering specify the 2X which draws 55 watts so as not to over draw the wiring. It is not very clear how to order the 2X , so ask the question of the seller.
I have had mine for 2 years.

Be careful using those bulbs....in my 1994 I had, the bulb ended up popping inside the light housing and it was a pain in the butt to remove the broken glass. Also like the post said above...it can overheat your wires and cause them to get brittle or melt the coating. I would say stay away from them.

I had bulbs like that in a previous car...melted the headlight wiring. So I ordered some more bulbs similar to those, but they were suppose to run cooler...they melted the wiring as well

I've been using Hella 100W high beam bulbs in my other car for at least three years with no ill effects. I also have a DRL mod, so the lights are constantly on but at a lower wattage. I just wanted something to fry the retinas out of the occasional **** who doesn't turn off his high beams at night.

I also didn't want anything with an annoying blue or purple tint. Some people may say "Well, isn't a 100W high beam in your eyes annoying, too?" Yes, but only the occasional **** with his high beams on sees it.

Again, I haven't tried these in my Viper but they've held up pretty well in my daily driver.

YIKES! looks like i'll stay away from these and just wait till i upgrade to the real HID kit.
