Has anyone vented the side panels to help cool the cats?

you can put screens and vents in the front wheel-well area, the back is open, the air will flow through easier. Somebody made or makes a vent kit I saw somewhere, try a search.

Highflow cats fixed my sidesill heat problems. They were less than $400 for a pair. I have taken several drives since getting them and the sidesills have been cool to the touch when exiting the car. This NEVER happened before.

Got mine from JonB at PartsRack and put them on the GTS. The car has been at DLM for a while but prior to Doug's work it did seem to help cool the sills a bit.

The screens on the front of the side sills seem like they could help vent the side sills, reducing heat, but aren't you guys worried that gunk will build up in there and degrade the insulation or rot the frame rails?
