I don't think it is that hard to figure out...

Viper23 does not run a Viper business.

He is here as an individual member and enthusiast.

He is the one that has continually being saying "sorry" and staying around trying to first make sense of what he got himself into then trying to explain it to everyone here.

If he was a fraudster - it would have been a lot easier to simply leave and find another forum where he could start again.... but he remained - despite the fact he obviously feels really bad. He even posted on the Alley - where he has a DIFFERENT name - that he was one and the same person and apologized there too!

I understand the need some have to be black and white and if they are not sure they just write a person off. Fine - bye bye. I don't respect that but I understand it.

That still leaves a whole lot of people willing to give someone who made an innocent mistake another chance.

What about RMS?

They have been caught lying.

Has Viper23 been caught lying? No

RMS changed their story. NOw they DO have reason to want to defend themselves and not run away... why?

Because they DO have a Viper business... so if they can smooth the waters over they will not lose so much goodwill and may get some custom out of it.... except everything keeps pointing back to them and they are the only one that can actually be shown to lie, and their post of defense was a back peddle...

It's obvious - RMS saw Viper23 coming when he called about a bulk buy discount and thought they could pull a fast one. Viper23 would never know. Why on earth would RMS let Viper23 IN ON IT?? That would be stupid - if anyone rips someone off the less that know the better.

I think Viper23 has said sorry enough and should be left alone. If he posts communication between him and RMS there could be defamation charges - he'd need legal counsel before he should do that, and most of their conversation was probably verbal anyway.

RMS? all the fingers keep pointing there and their defense wouldn't convince a goose. If I were them, I'd quietly slip away for a while, making more noise is not going to make them look better.

I was hoping to benefit from this deal as many were.

BUT....with a little home work and a little talking.....

I have found an Authorized Belanger Dealer today that will sell 1 set or as many as you want of REAL Belanger headers for $1,600.00 plus shipping. This seems to be about the best price I have seen out there currently. He said it is two to three weeks for delivery as Belanger has to build them.

I ordered a set today. I'm not in the middle of this, you would have to contact the Authorized Dealer directly. Anybody want contact info?

So,
One of these two things must be true.

1. viper23 was offering a deal that RMS wasn't offering.
OR
2. RMS was planning on filling the orders with knock offs.

It was either viper23 or RMS or perhaps even both.
One thing seems to be true, there was a scam attempt.

wrong on all counts.....it was the butler in the library with a spoon up his a$$.

torquie, I think you might be on to something.

viper23 was probably just taken in and used by RMS in a scam to sell **** off Belanger headers.

viper23, was that how it went down?
Say it....
