I did ruin my perfect record in vegas with this last trip I think what I pulled Sat night should count as two thought thus bringing my record back to a perfect 6 for 6

Honestly I'd have to go with the TT set up myself, yes the power comes on faster and stronger then a SC set up, thus you need to learn control a little more but I think it's worth it. Plus no physical adjustments like belts to worry and what not. Recently i've talked to a few people that have ridden in Paolo's new set up and they said you cant tell it's a turbo car because of the set up the turbo's spool Really fast and it actually has a smoother pull like a SC charged cars. So maybe the direction that he's going in is where Viper turbo's at least will be in the future. And being a big turbo fan i'm glad he found something that really works to that degree for sure
And as a side not keep my friends, and all the other troops in your thoughts and Prayers, because a Viper is only as fun as the freedom you have to drive it with

I mentioned a while back that the TT would do this however the S/C guys cried and ******* that turbos couldn't do this and it would take a lot longer. Heffner has proved my point and so has Dr. Roof even though he has had some problems which i am sure will be ironed out.

So basically you are sort of taking credit for something that you had absolutely nothing to do with?

What is up with bringing this thread back, maybe for its one year anniversary? I would have to say that no turbo car’s power will come on faster than a twin screw. As for peak power that is all Turbo.

It is interesting for me to see my posts from last year. I was happy with my SC, no doubt about that. But since switching to TTs, I know I wouldn't be as happy with the SC anymore, but only when compared to my Heffner TT.

Two Great options for a Viper now-a-days. We didn't have these options a few years ago!

Wow, I didn't even look at the dates. I wasn't the one who brought it back.

But about the power, if you have a small turbo you will come into boost sooner, but not see the most peak boost. A turbo should be set to provide the most usable area under the curve, not necessarily what spools faster. Sure it is fun to have instant boost, but if the blower/turbo can't provide power for long, it may be worse than a turbo with a longer spooling time.

CHAD, saw your Viper in HOT ROD. Heffner showed those other cars what a TT-V10 is capable of. I loved how your Viper was also labeled most legit street car. I noticed he had best ET but didn't win. Probably had trouble hooking up on the other runs. Best of luck in the future.
