Helmet recomendations

I need to buy a helmet for use 2-3 times a year. I know it's your head..... Can I get a good one for around $ 400.00? I looked at Helmet City & there were alot to choose from. I would like to hear from someone that uses theirs & can give me a recomendation from experience. Where did you buy from?

I got mine from Jegs.com make sure it is Snell 2000 rated and do NOT get M rated, that is a motorcycle rated helment and tracks that check your helment will NOT let you race.

It's about $330. I also bought the battery powered fan that clips onto the port on the side. I really helps to push some air through the helmet, keeping you much cooler.

Looks cool, although I prefer a clear visor myself. You can always return it if you don't like or it doesn't fit well.

I looked a little farther & came up with this " Super Bandit N (Nomex)" It has vent holes. I thought that heat might escape a little??
