Help! Help! Security sys. won't turn off

1994 RT/10 Have had a power on and off switch installed for years. Never a problem. Took off the dashboard skin and repainted it, reinstalled, switched the power on and always the parking lights pulse on and off until I use the remote and turn off the security sys. This time it will not turn off. Changed the batteries in the remote and still will not turn off. Car is in the security on mode.....When I try to start it, it stalls immediately. Please help!

Hold the open and closed buttons on the remote at the same time while standing next to the car. When it beeps or flashes, then hit the open button.

Common for the theft module to go out on the older Viper, any voltage spikes can do it also.

Easy fix.... If you call I can walk you through it. I don't want to publicly post how to bypass the alarm system

Thanks for stepping up to help. I was actually wondering if anyone made a harness or had a method to bypass it.

It was a blown fuse, #7 labeled security sys/cigarette lighter. Thanks to everyone especially Doug!
