I am sick and tired of always getting outbid on Ebay when I finally see one, and I refuse to pay more than 100 dollars on the regular sites, because I simply don't have that much money: yesterday it happened again :(

I thought I would post this here since more people read this section than the collectables
Can anyone please search one for me? I already asked JonB from Partsrack if he could help me, but he didn't know how to identify the Anson model. I'll give you guys 3 distinctive things to look for:

1) the sunvisors on this model can be moved: no other Viper model has this feature

2) I know that someone in the ViperAlley has one, and in one of his posts I read that the tires are hard plastic instead of soft rubber

3) the seatbelts on this model are workable AND are in their right place on the doors: again no other Viper model has this feature

Here are clear pictures of the three colors I am looking for (in that order), in the background you can see the back of the box it comes in:

And here is a review about a yellow one:

Any help would be deeply appreciated  :( :( :(

Thanks :2tu: Currently there is only one auction for a red one active, but by the end of that auction the price will likely be (way) more than the ~$65 it's at now :(

Hmmmm I have a green one at home.....Not for sale but I wonder if it is like the one you described up above,.....

Check the 3 checkpoints I mentioned in my first post and look at the picture of the kid next to the yellow one in the review link for a perspective and you know for sure :2tu:

Good luck with your search. Just keep an eye on eBay. I used to sell these for $150 each. They were hot items for about a year after they came out and then died after that.

No one knows where I can get my hands on one for sure  ?????

I dont really consider Ebay an option anymore because I always get outbid to the regular vendor price and I SO MUCH HATE THAT :(

The one on ebay is an original JRL model. I think that these things are a deal right now. I already have 1 of them as they are superior to the Anson cars simply because of their historical significance. I have an anson car all torn apart waiting for paint and a long list of modifications including turbos and titanium grey paint.

Looks really good man :2tu:

What about the sidepipes and wheels: do you intend to keep them as they are or are you gonna turn it into a Gen 1.5/2.0?

Sidepipes are going back on, I thought about trying to put vents in the hood but I will save that for another project. I am more concerned with getting the working lights and visual engine mods done on this one.

The paint looks really dull in those pics because it needs clearcoat on it. The more I look at it the more I want to change the color

Hey, I've got a green one just like the above pics. It's VERY nice....flexible seatbelts in the right spot, working visors, steering rack that works. Didn't know they were worth that much!

Can you please give me a pm with more details about those working lights, I might try that myself once I acquire one myself :p
There's a shop nearby here that sells small electrical stuff so parts isn't likely gonna be a problem :D

Craig That's a nice one your building I like the seats. Any chance you wouldn't happen to be putting working head and tail lights. :smirk:

Here's what you do. Find a Maisto GT2 and red GTS. Switch the suspension pieces and ****! you got yourself an ACR! Now depending on weather or not you like the GT2 with the GTS rims you can do alot more. Say if you car has a front spliter you can take the front bumper of the GT2, paint it red and put it on the GTS. Or you could cut the roof off the GT2 and put it on a RT/10. I'm still working on mine.

Bruce...if you paid that coin for it years ago...it has to be an original JRL. Obviously, I might be wrong....but the Anson 1/12th were not that expensive...were they?

The most I ever saw an anson car was $75 But now they are really starting to pick up in value. One on ebay just went for $70+ and an original JRL car went for $130 a couple weeks ago. I'm never selling mine as they are going to be impossible to find. The custom 1:12 I am making now is gonna be too cool when done
