HELP! NEED REAR TIRE IN FRONT ROYAL, VA \'00 ACR

Cruising along on first leg of trip to VOI8, 70 miles out of the DC area on I-66, the left rear tire decides to take leave of the wheel. 11:00 PM in the rain. Wheel is undamaged, but I'm in urgent need of a stock size Pilot for a 2000 ACR.

Weird...an inch of sidewall on each side, still beaded tight, but no "rest of tire." This is a new one on me.

Anyone who can steer me in the right direction, your help will be greatly appreciated. Max adult beverages at VOI, a place in my will...etc...the usual...

I have a new set of rear's. I would only sell them in pairs. Tirerack has them for $375.00 plus shipping. I would be willing to sell mine and order another set because I don't need them right now.

I live about 35 Minutes north of DC.

I got lucky...found a set here in Front Royal from a VCA bud.

Many thanks to Mike Piscelli (VA-MD VCA) for showing up the morning after my almost-midnight tire drama with a set of brand-new Pilot Sports. He brought a floor jack so I could mount the temp spare and drive the car, then he took the tires to Marlow Motor Co. (Dodge Dealer in Front Royal, VA). Marlow mounted the new shoes and we went on our way. Many thanks to them, especially Malachi, the tech who did the work.

Thanks also to Biff Brown of V-Mania, who gave me Mike P's phone number.

I'm here at VOI now, having a great time with the ACR.
