One down - one to go... The "less stuck" one came loose by using an oak 2x4 to pry, and some selective persuasion with a hammer. Silicone spray is working on the other side while we finish the brake pads on left side. Hopefully its worked some magic. Never seen anything rusted like this - 19K miles car- original brake pads - very well kept car... the amount of rust was incredible... Thanks - I'll keep you guys posted..

Use the "red straw" and get around those studs, the disc pilot flange, then hit the backside of the drive flange at the OD with some penetrant too. Let it sit for 10-15 min, then use a 2# hammer and a good blunt punch to rap on the area around the studs and the disc pilot flange near the center. Keep doing this and before long, something should loosen up.

Are the pads out yet? You might try grabbing the disc at the OD on opposite sides and rocking it by hand. Make sure that the caliper floats freely in & out on the guide pins.

Oak 2X4, soaking silicone, and kicking the 2x4 managed to get the job done....

OK all - take your wheels and tires off periodically and check for corrosion between rotor and hub... Your brake pad changed will thank you...

Go to this site and search for "NON FLAMMABLE PENETRATING OIL"

This is the very best penetrating fluid by far! For the record, I have no affiliation with this company. Over the years I've used some of their products and they are very high quality.
