Help needed from anybody!

[99 R/T 10]

I go out to drive the old 96, feels funny when shifting. The shifter knob was spinning! What the???????? Took it apart and found the stock bolt/absorber was broken. Dam, now I need a replacement and hope one of you guys or gals out there might have one that is not being used anymore. Please email, PM or respond here and thanks in advance!

I have a B and M one that is a little beat up but if you cleaned up the threads it would work fine.

The only thing that felt funny while you were shifting is that yellow blurrr that was blowing past you. Car show was a lot of fun next time bring the Gen II so you can keep up.

Funny you say this, I am buying this one thing from a Viper owner, but I don't know his screen name yet. This is a solution to reduce the throw on the shiftr instead of buying a B&M one.

I would concur that Rich Detert's piece made the shifting much better in my 2000.
