Help please.... Warranty question

Hi everybody,

This question pretends to an 04 car. Does the factory 3yr 36k miles, and the 7yr limited warranty are affected at all by the number of owners the car has had? And can the "good" extended warranty be purchase at any time as long as the original 36k one has not expire.

The factory 3/36 warranty stays with the vehicle from day one no matter how many owners. The 7/70 warranty can be transferred once and usually costs around $150 to do so. With the last 8 of your VIN I can check for sure.

New Vehicle Service Contracts can be purchased up until you hit 48 months after the in service date (original sale date) or at 48,000 miles. What does happen is each time you go up 12 months or 12,000 miles from the original sale, there is an extra charge of $150 to the price of the service contract. After 48/48,000 miles, you are forced to buy a more expensive used car contract. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me.
