Thanks a lot for the post! Not sure how much of this applies to my 94 Venom 500 as some of the things mentioned are not on my car-big surprise! LOL but I appreciate it!

You're welcome! The information I provided is from a 1998 Hen Price Guide. So it is possible that your Venom 500 system was purchased before 1998 and maybe some of the items listed were not offered before. From what I can tell is that his systems evolved over time. Any ways, just something to think about.

Cheers

If you've been asked by a couple members for information. Then send them the info. We don't need to see it anymore. It's understood what the real cost of the Venom package is!

There's alot more to it.

OH, FYI those prices are really high and the power is nothing special these days.

It sounds like I've stepped outside of my posting boundaries as a new member. I guess maybe I should have know that this info would offend Mr. Casey. If you didn't want to see the information anymore then why did you read it?

OH, FYI I didn't set the prices...those are right out of the Hen price guide so I don't need any of your intelligent input or thoughts!

One last thing Mr. Casey, nobody needs to hear your negative input!

I disagree totally. I think if there is negative input, it needs to be brought out for all to see.

No reason to hide anything. There may be some a positive here and there, but there are also alot and I do mean ALOT OF negatives with this issue also!

Please don't call me Mr. Casey. Casey is fine.

Oh, by the way, You didn't have to read my post or respond either. So please do not tell me what to do, or what not to do. I may take offense to that.

He builds some fast Vipers and everybody that I know that has done business with him in the last 5 years is very happy , all that drama was years ago.
Time to move on and give him some credit for keeping our cars up front in the media.................

Yup, totally know its not 1998 anymore. That is the only information I had and was asked to provide it. So I did. Some members were curious what was in each package and I simply thought it would help them by providing it. But obviously some members don't see it that way!

STU, I was not pissed when I made my first post. Not at all.

I just got a bit sick of seeing the "Venom" posted all over here like it was a GOOD thing. So I made a point to open up conversation for the other side, which isn't quite so positive.

But unless you're my wife, I don't need to be called Mr. Casey! :D And that almost, yes, almost got me a little anxious. :p

Thanks GTSjbud, I appreciate the info. When I asked about what was in the packages I couldn't find that info anywhere else and you had it. None of the 4000 post club guys reponded but you did. Thanks again. Maybe the prices are old but it tells me what the previous owner probably paid for the package that is on my car so the prices are very relevant. I don't even know if those packages are still available so how would someone have current prices for them anyway? It's possible that part of the reason people have 1000's of posts is because they spend so much time reading other peoples threads just waiting for something negative to say. As a case in point just watch the kind of reponses I get to this post.

so tell me this brainiac boy, what validity does it hold for me if i bought a viper someone else dumped 100k into. does it mean my car is worth 100k now. the fact is, when henny came out with these packages alot of these parts were a one off production run hand made etc. today technology has had a decent hand in bringing prices down due to numerous factors. the fact is today headers dont cost 5000 dollars, head porting doesnt run 8000 dollars, cat backs dont cost 3000 dollars and so on. today the power made with most of the packages you saw in that H thread can be acheived by spending a fraction of those dollars.

Sorry Casey, I'm with the noob. This information is very useful
stuff to have and I don't think I've seen it all laid out it before.
Also the prices might be really high, but I'm thinking a lot of
the modification wasn't exactly off-the-shelf bolt-on stuff nine
years ago either.

Thanks to GTSjbud, the next time someone comes on and says "I
just bought a Venom650" we'll be able to say "Really? Did it
have all of this when you bought it?......."

There is a reason When you type the Venoms name here it shows up like this [*****] .

Dyeguy, you need to use the search button before you talk more. Some of use have been here a long time and have seen all this crap before. It doesn't need to be here, plain and simple. Post count doesn't mean much, although it does show that some of use have been here a while and seen it all.
It also shows that you haven't been here long at all, and need to use the search button a bit more before you start spouting off.

As I mentioned prevously, no reason for anyone to be sorry. Unless of course you own a Venom car. :D Take the info for what it's worth. I don't think it's worth anything except more potential headaches. And I don't believe it needs to be displayed here on this site.

You are very welcome! Again it is just info, right from Hen and I don't understand why a few members are getting all worked up. I guess they know it all!! I guess we are all not as gifted as them! :D

Any ways, glad the information was of help! Cheers :2tu:

It's amazing that we have to spend so much time not even talking about the original subject because we have to defend why we're talking about it. There's probably not much we could talk about on here that hasn't already been discussed many times in the past that we probably could go dig up if we took the time. But if you notice they don't call it a library but a forum.
