HID Driving/fog lamps

Just replaced the halogen bulbs in my fog lamps with a set of HID's. I had to install daytime running lights to conform with Canadian vehicle import laws, so instead of bringing the car to the dealer to pay an outrageous amount for a PCM re-flash, I installed a set of HID's and wired them to on at all times while running. These look wicked and are a perfect compliment to the HID low beams. Lots of light now up front. High beams are next on my hit list!

i did HID fogs and i think i have only used it once. personally i dont like the look of the fog lights and the headlights on at the same time, specially since its a low car.

The plug for the prewired daytime running lights is on the inside of the right front fender by the radiator. All Vipers are wired for daytime running lights. All you need is the standard Dodge module. I found it by accident while I was getting ready to run an aftermarket kit. I found a multiwire plug with a cap on it that looked a lot like the one I had to replace on my Durango. I snapped it into the Viper and presto, I had day running lights that even go off when the E brake is on, as in my other vehicles.
I originally asked the local dealer if it was prewired and they said not. So don't ask him or he will probably tell you no.

No. The low beam headlight comes on about 1/3 power of what it does with the light switch.

That disallows useage Of HIDs. I hardwired my DRL and it took 20 minutes. I installed the HID lowbeams and loved them so much (they provided light that was eqaul to high beams so I chenged the highbeams to HID as well, driving lights are my DRL and ordinary bulbs are full on. Free and simple.

Can't be on a Gen IV - they are equipped with HID's which will not run on anything under full power.

I just checked and the Gen IV do have the day running lights on the driving lights.

What temperature range did you go with on the fog lights? 5000K or 4300K? (OEM)
