I thought I would open a thread to determine the current "highest mileage" Viper among the owners of the VCA. Please list your mileage and year. We hear all the time about the 10 year old Viper with 15K on it, but how about hearing from the drivers who REALLY enjoy their cars. :drive: Okay, who thinks their cars are WAY UP THERE?

'97 GTS with almost 78,000. Glad to see those high numbers, shows the car is not fragile like most cars in it's class.

"Original engine" tells me it has not been rebuilt but that may just be the way I read it. I have no problem believing a Viper engine will last that long. 56hp/liter is not exactly taxing the engine.

I have one other customer with a 1996 RT/10, 212,000 miles. But the engine was rebuilt once.

The high mileage GTS has the original engine, still running strong.
This car has the original transmission as well, but the shifting is a little heavy.
The owner does not run it hard, but drives 100 miles a day.

Last time I drove Mary's GTS (a 2000) it had 107.000 miles.
Her sold SRT-10 had like 80.000 miles.
And the new baby, the ACR-clone should be over 20.000 by now ...

+200.000 miles! Way to go!

Right under 92k for me. 41k of those are mine. There's a white/blue 96' RT/10 w/over 200k on it. Yes, 200k! Its also Paxton blown and he drifts it and dragraces and everything else you can do to abuse a car!

I have seen that car. The front wheels are modified to turn almost completely sideways for drifting and runs on a methanol system. It had over 200k when I saw it at last years Viper christmas party and he brought it here for service a couple of months ago. This guy really really drives his car, and hard and I believe it is on its original engine still. At least it was when I saw it.

Next month (finally) I should have a new position requiring a 100 mile round trip commute. Finally approaching 100K and looking for lots more... original engine, but on T-56 #2.
