hmmmm. i think this isnt a new ACR i think this could be the new GT2. i have said this before and i think i may be right. first of all its going to be on a whole new platform and more power. what viper was different and had more power along time ago. hmmm exactly 10 years ago in 98 they made a GT2. i think dodge is going to make a new GT2 to commemerate the old one. and then after that new ACR. its making more sense every time i say it. i think it might happen have dodge has done a lot of things the commemerate 10 years such as the coupe coming out in 06 ten years after 96 or the yellow color coming out in 05 ten years after 95. then maybe with the new GT2 in 08 ten years after 98 and then ACR in 09 ten years after 99. tell me what you think

The GT2 was not a different platform. It was a Gen II. And it was commemorating the Lemans winning GTS-R Now what would this commemorate?

Note also the "increased power" was smooth tubes and K&N filters. Something many/most owners had already done at that time.

Sounds like you have the theory of tens. Doubtful that a car company would plan on that basis, but you never know.

yup i know that it was on the same platform as the gts. i think it would be commemorating the 10th year anniversary of the lemans win. like how the ford GT in 06 is commemorating there 40th aniversary or there le mans win.

Instead of commemorating the Lemans win of ten years ago they need to start factory backed racing again and win it again. Tired of seeing the vettes win.

Dodge needs to get back into Lemans and compete with the Corvette.

Competition is great for both brands - which I love. Viper and Corvette have really pushed each other over the last 12 years and it is in everyones best interest that it continues.

Hope this special Viper is in the works.
