Houston Viper accident repairs

Hey Guys,
Was on the freeway this morning and took the off ramp to Nasa Rd. one and in the middle of the lane is a large truck spare tire. Tried to miss it but it struck the drivers' front and I went up and over it. It tore the lower up big time and the inner fender well also. I see the abs module hanging also. Bummer big time!! I'm dealing with insurance now. The question is, do y'all know a good repair facility for this? I don't want to take it anywhere. It is my baby. They said they'll guarantee it for life at there facilities, but do they know what they are doing on a viper? Thanks.

Dont let them BS you with that "Lifetime Guarantee" verbage.. It's a ploy to direct you to a shop of THEIR choice where the Insurance Company controls the repairs (and cost) rather than the Shop or YOU.
ALL Body Shops give a Lifetime Guarantee on repairs, no big deal. And you have the right to take it ANYWHERE you choose such as Tomball.

This is very true. I am a body shop manager and our shop does not have any DRP's (direct repair programs). We believe its your car its your choice. You but the fuel in it, pay the car payment, heck you enen choose the insurance company, you hired them you tell them what to do.

Elvis1 I highly recommend Gullo Fords body shop in Conroe. I have used them several times over the years for various cars and they do excellent work the first time and they have a new paint shop too. I am very picky about body shops and most do marginal work esp. in the final paint. Ask for Billy Coleman the body manager and deal directly with him.

What part of town are you in? We have had great luck with S&T out in Katy. All the paint and body repair work they have done for us has been top notch and they work on Vipers all the time.

This would be my recommendation also.

Push your insurance company for diminished value. They should give you some dough to make up for the lower value your Viper has because it has been crashed.

When I lived in Houston, I had some body work done at Tomball's. I believe the shop is just down and over at the Ford dealership. The work and service was very good.
