Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. The guys cutting the grass outside of my office, spit a piece of metal out of one of their mowers and it hit my driver's front wheel. The damage isn't to bad, but the wheel was perfect. Thank goodness it didn't hit the body! The wheel is scratched past the polished surface in several spots between a spoke. Can this be repaired? If so how will it be repaired and how will it look? The guy is bonded but seems like he's looking for a cheap way out. You should have seen the look on his face when he saw it was a viper that one of his men damaged.

Get ahold of Trans Wheel, they have a couple different locations.
They will fix it for $150 or less. I have seen other places advertise $99-$110 for a repair, but never heard of anyone using them.

Plenty of places that fix them. You'll just have to pick one of them and send it off. Many of them have CLEAN wheels in stock to swap, but NEVER have I seen one stock Viper wheels.

Usually takes a day or two tops once they get the wheel.

I had curb rash on my right front wheel.

When I was getting my tires changed, the tire shop guy did some grinding and polishing for me and got rid of the scratches. Took about 15 minutes, looks great, and he didn't charge me anything.

You'll be amazed at what they can do for your wheeel, but you will lose the clear coat, in the area they worked. I don't know if there is a clear coat available, but you can just polish that area every once in a while. Going price in the Dallas area is about $100-$125

I've had many wheeel done on different cars. They all come out nice.

Do our stock SRT wheels have clear coat on them?

My wife is learning to drive my viper, and last week went up the curb because her turn was too quick. My passenger side rear rims has 4 inches of damage. She apologized to me profusedly and repeatedly....you can't stay mad for too long when someone keep saying sorry every couple of minutes. I used one of those handheld thing (like a drill) and grind it smoothly. It still doesn't look like new, but you won't notice the damage unless you specifically look for it.
