Just working on some things for my car, and decided to post a number of illustrated projects.

I opened up my cowl mine to 1994VIPER photos above a couple of years ago. This in addition to cutting a hole in the left "speaker" has done wonders to allow hot air to escape, especially when the car is parked or sitting at a light. You can line the outer edge of the hole with a slit vacume hose to finish it off niceley. I removed the rubber weather stripping on the hood near the cowl as well which allowed a nice gap the width of the hood to further allow hot air to escape. Although I like the solid look of the Gen 1 hoods, the new Gen 4 hoods do have a huge advantange for air flow.

I used a cheap roterry tool from a local department store. You can see the box wit all kinds of different bits. Also used a metal coat hanger as a guide. just bend it and clamp it to the outline.
