HOW MUCH DOES THE 18\"OEM WHEEL/TIRE WEIGH?

Need to ship a set like tomorrow.......what do they weigh....Fronts and Rears?
Also, what is the best way to ship these at a cost not so ridiculous to the buyer? I used UPS the last time and it was not cheap for the 17" set. Anybody out there with some input would be greatly appreciated.

Front tires are 28.30 pounds, rear tires are 33.40 pounds, I just shipped a set....but no wheels. At least you have half the equation. It cost about $103 from East Coast to West Coast, FedEx.

I just brought a front wheel only, via UPS with packaging 32 lbs

Thats means that 4 wheels and tyres are about 8% of the total weight of the Viper, thats a lot, not surprised I get a bad back every time I lift them !

That also means that you can save about 60lb's of rotating mass by getting some light weight street legal aftermarket wheels.

Which means my RT with say vr1's would weigh in at 3280lbs, that is some serious benefit.

17" tires, front 32 lbs, rear 35 lbs. DHL is cheaper than UPS or Fedex. It's even cheaper if you can drop off.

Conversely, brake upgrades that increase rear rotor size by even 1/2" can affect RWHP negatively.
