I bought speaker surrounds and they are too tight???

What the heck am I doing wrong? I bought speaker trim ring surrounds for my door speakers from Viper Trim, and they are too tight, and back speaker surrounds from ZAF and they are too tight. I mean I really worked them in there, no flush fit, and yes, my speakers are all stock. Anyone else have this problem?

Do you mean it doesn't sit inside the door depression? Those depression sizes are a custom size. No aftermarket parts will fit exactly right.

Whoa, am I supposed to take the speakers out to some degree and sit the trim rings just inside? No it cant be that way, they almost fit, but I cant get on side flush, yeah I am talking about the outer lip of the speaker...

Are you sure Team ZAF did not send out there [******] rings by accident?

Yeah mine's the same way. You can almost get them to sit flush but not quite. There's not much you can do other than make your own grill.
