I think it works okay for now. But can't wait for the "other parts".

ab -

Look's awesome! That sucker should haul! I mean blower should haul!

1 beef with that setup... the air intake. That elbow on the air filter looks pretty restritive. If you dyno the car with and w/o the air filter on I bet you make much more power w/ the filter off. If you can find a filter that clamps right on to the blower intake I think you'll find it makes more power.

BTW -is there an air bypass valve for the SC? If so, where is it mounted? I couldn't tell from the pics.

Congratulations, and nice job on the install too!

One thing I noticed ab on the valve covers you have vent filters. You should vent it properly to the blower. Blower produce more crancase pressure you may leak oil over you engine and headers producing a possible fire threat.

Hey, Guys!
Sometimes I feel like such a wimp when I read posts like this. What is wrong with me and my bone-stock everyday GTS?
When I hit third at 4800RPM I think I'm really something, but 800HP! Dang!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I did the install myself. I will be scraping the fuel system that came with the paxton and go with something else. I will be producing somewhere of 13-15 PSI but I have someone helping me tune it.

hey AB what has gotten into you??

I miss the Atlanta crew and just got crazy. Plus my poor 1/4 mile time was making me mad!

I am looking at several different options, but all will have the potential to get me there to the 800 HP. I just have to decided which way I am wanting to go.

But don't worry kiddies, I will keep it posted like I normally do in my "how to threads" that no one reads. :(

I have a complete write up on how to install the paxton set up with many many mucho pictures! :2tu: :D But not sure if I will publish it yet on the web.

ab,

I really look forward to your "how to" on the Paxton. Is there an intercooler that could fit in there?

Yes there is an intercooler. water to air. I am also doing something special with that too. But hush hush until I complete it. It will keep things ice cold in the summer times for racing.

I can sell you a complete fuel system for your car including fuel rails, regulator, injectors, lines, pump and everything else you will need to feed your beast at a reasonable cost. Just contact me if you're interested. Thanks.

Well my plans are on hold right now until I get a major issue resolved. Until then the Paxton kit stays the way it came.
