Has Left the Room!
I love my JEEP ? * NEWBIE* & my NEW RED \'93 - (pics)
I was having the itch for a new car after turning 80K miles on my '99 Jeep. After looking at Jeeps, Explorers, and the X-5, I came to the conclusion to drive the Jeep until it drops ... and get the real deal ... my new 1993 RED RT/10. I've been dreaming about this since I saw the first Viper prototype at the 89/90 Chicago Autoshow.
I've had it for about a month now and wanted to wait until I had all of the mods done before posting pictures. It WAS bone stock when I picked her up with only 7600 miles - with the exception of the chromed 3 spokes. After much help from this board, I've added the following: Painted the dash Black/Red, door poppers, Rockford Fosgate CD/MP3, Sony RED Xplod speakers, Smooth Tubes, MGW Shifter & Knobs, Billet Door Handles, Chrome Emblems, and Mobil 1. Still to come - Vmania Windows, chin guard, new Pilot Sports, and formally joining "The Club".
Here's my dream and the source of my ear to ear VIPER smile:
Thank you for all of the info on this board, Thanks to RVS in Omaha for selling me one of his Vipers, and a special thank you to RM in St. Louis for the dash paint scheme.
Best Personal Regards,
ROCKET62
(yes the Viper does qualify as my 40 year old mid-life crisis purchase!)
