I\'m really gonna miss my GTS !!!

I'm actually depressed about it. I HATE putting her away for 6-8 frickin' months, waiting impatiently for the @#$% snow to go away !!

I really envy those of you who can drive yours 365 days a year.

Since last Sunday evening, we've had SNOW on the ground, with the 3rd Coldest October on record, and the weatherman says that there's no signs of warmer weather in sight for Duluth Minnesota. Last Winter season, the snow didn't go away 'til MAY. That makes for a very long winter.

Global warming MY A$$ !!!!!

I too am going to miss YOUR GTS...nothing like leaving my car safe and sound in the garage, while getting hammered and riding around in yours...I officially nominate you Designated Driver for the entire year of 2003...just be more careful where you park that thang!

maybe some major cleaning of the car over the winter will help make the blues go away. Removing the wheels and cleaning them front and back, detailing the inner wheel wells and underbody....you know...stuff like that.

Hey Dan--I'm 250 miles or so straight east of you with 6" in the yard as we speak. We got 10" Sunday night. Still hoping to get one more ride in before hibernation. Usually get it out around the middle of April and get some rides in between the last storms of the year.

JH23JOB i just had the recall work done on my 2000GTS also had an oil change and put Lucas oil supplement with the Mobil. I am now ready to put my car to sleep for the winter so i can identify with your feelings. It's time for another hobby.

JH23JOB,
I feel for you, I know how you must feel.
I just bought a GTS last week so I could drive sooner and longer.
I was able to put 150miles on it before I put it away for the winter.
The problem is now I'm hooked on this thing and I just can't wait to drive again.
I drove my RT/10 about 1500 to 2000 miles this summer which is lots for me, but I'd love to get that BLACK GTS back out on the streets.
Oh well at least I'll have two Vipers to play with in my garage this winter.
Anyone looking for a nice '94 RT/10, it has side pipes!!!

With Lake Superior in my back yard, which has 10% of the worlds fresh water in, the weather here is very unpredictible, and usually sux this time of year. I actually feel sorry for the weathermen around here since they NEVER can predict anything unless they just look out the window and call it as they see it.

How many days 'til Spring ??

problem is I can't usually get mine out till the end of April!

My Ol'man just drove his '03 SL500 to Phoenix last weekend so he can drive when ever he wants to this winter.
I tried to convince him to make space for my GTS at his condo, but no luck, he figures I don't have time to be driving around anyhow.
He figures if I'm driving around in AZ then he'll have to be up hear taking care of things.
That's my job during the winter months.
I guess that's his privilege.

What are you talking about ? I drove my GTS up to Duluth just yesterday. You haven't lived until you've driven a car with 13" wide wheels in freezing rain / snow...
