I\'m so close, srt with black stripes and startech rims what do you think?

I have narrowed it down to either a red SRT or silver SRT/ 03 or 04 with the black Comp Coupe Stripe package and StarTech 20 inch rims.

or should it be black with silver stripes? cant decide anyone with photoshop or other suggestions?

Are you going to use tape or paint? Someone at a body shop told me that either way I needed to have the car clear coated again. Is this true?

Ultimately paint. might vinyl at first to make sure its really what I want.

I would think to just clear the new striped area whether it is paint or vinyl.

I had the Startechs on my Gen 2 but can't seem to get them for my SRT as they are not available in the US yet. How are you going to get them?

Don't get Silver with Blue because I might have to get one to match my GTS ACR. Its no secret I favor Silver. I think because the car has a black top I would go with black stripes on the Silver car otherwise that picture of the black/silver looks very nice as well. I like Black but , it is so darn hard to keep looking clean shows everything. Silver is not bad at all. Black you can clean and five minutes later just sitting it already looks dirty.

Jay are you keeping the GTS and how about those ACR wheels you just got?

Jay are you keeping the GTS and how about those ACR wheels you just got?

The gts has been paid for a 4 years now and it not going anywhwere, Something happened to the motor and I waiting for it to be fixed. So I will be out for Sebring on the Aug 28th, but I should be at homestead on Sept 25. The ACR wheels are perfect, clean even still have the stickers on them. I will be running them on the track.

I have bad news for you....if they are for a Gen II car they will not fit properly on the SRT. There is barely enough clearance for the front and not enough in the rears because of the new calipers. You need such a large spacer that Startech would not do it for me. BTW Felix is no longer with Startech and has not been for almost 1 year! I am waiting for them to bring Gen III wheels over and last I heard they only had one set here on the black SRT car they are trying to sell.

Okay, so in the first shot I figured those stripes looked darn near chrome, but knew that was nuts. Now that I have seen it from the back I know it wasn't so nuts after all. I have never seen anything like that on any car in my life. Wild!

To tell you the truth, I actually made those chrome stripes purely by accident.
I was really trying to get the silver ones on that SRT.

"gtsviper" I hope your gen III Startech wheels come in soon. I would have thought that they would be available by now in the U.S.A. Anyway, I'm taking good care of your old Startech's from your genII. Good Luck!
