Ok Ive had my Viper 2 days.Is it normal to smell fuel after shutting the car off after spirited driving? I just noticed this today and am worried cause Im going to Sebring tomorrow and dont want anything to happen. Its not an overbearing smell, just faint, and more on the right side than left.

TIA,

Joe

Not to say that there is or there isn't anything wrong, but when I first got my car, it did the same thing. Hasn't happened since.

now on my 1995 RT. the fuel line has a breather line. comes up thru the front facia. after spirited driving i also spell fuel. when the facia is off i get nasty wiffs so block it off with a golf tee.

This may sound stupid but... re-tighten the fuel cap and/or replace it. Also you know it should have a twist on fuel cap under that silver flap thing (don't know what it's called) Your new to Vipers so you may not know these things.

Oh, and no it's not normal to smell fuel.
