This is a reminder to our members...text below sent out via e-mail...including contact info and a map:

"We now have enough interest to schedule another exciting Viper Dyno Day at Automotive Specialties - 1337 Pleasant Street Noblesville, IN 46060. The event is scheduled for Saturday October 7th beginning at 9:00am. The rate is $70.00 per car with 3 pulls assuming that we have more than 5 cars in for the event which as of today we do. Cash or check is preferred as running credit cards between runs is a hassle for them. Minor mods (airfilters change for example) can be accomplished between pulls.

Please confirm your interest to me directly. Any IN / KY VCA member can attend and any IN/KY VCA member can run any car he/she owns, but priority is given to Vipers as far as pull order with Viper pull order being detirmined by order of arrival with any non-Vipers run after the Vipers are done.

Even if you don't want to run, stop by and watch. It's a lot of fun!

See you there" !!!!

P.S. If you live in the IN/KY area, own a Viper, and ARE NOT an IN/KY VCA member...come anyway AND bring your Viper, dyno same, and join OUR Club on the spot (we will send the paperwork to VCA HDQ for you) THEN YOU can enter the drawing as well !!!!

Re: IN/KY VCA Dyno Day...10/7/06...REMINDER...

THANKS to Automotive Specialists, our members, and Ron Fleming for a great time at our dyno day !!!

The 10 Vipers and 3 Rams drew many looks from the locals.

Congrats to Ryan on winning the torque wrench in the drawing!!

Congrats to Jim on the high torque and HP readings with his Roe Supercharged Gen I Viper!!!

THANKS also to Jason Barnes (Certified Viper Tech at INDY's Champion Dodge) for attending today...and for answering Viper questions...as well as bringing us the flyers concerning the special VCA member offer on fall fluid changes (and the discounts!!!) which will be sent out in the next IN/KY newsletter.

Re: IN/KY VCA Dyno Day...10/7/06...REMINDER...

SPECIAL thanks to Steve-Indy for all his help today. He is BY far the most knowledgeable Viper guy I have ever met, AND he found a valve loose on my Viper for me today.

This is the kinda guy that takes care of their own, teaches you about your car, AND checks it over just to make sure all is well. Now THAT is VCA membership priviledges at it's finest!!!

Btw, my stock '01 GTS (intake, smooth tubes and exhaust only) dyno'd at 412 rwhp. Guys said it was running rich, only wish there was a way to tune it right then...?

Hi, Leslie...again THANKS for making the long drive! In the future, we MAY be better equipped to do some tuning at that shop. Should be FUN !!

Hostile...I hear YA...Tech director/dyno-day-organizer Ron took some photos and will likely post same.

It's a shame that we did not have video with sound...as the Gen I with the Roe REALLY screamed!!!!

We do have a video with sound Steve (A baited question perhaps....)

As soon as I return from the far side of the earth, I will convert and post a link to. Agree completely always better with pictures.
