IN/KY VCA's Autocross At Tire Rack...July 8, 2006

This event is open to 2006 IN/KY VCA Members, their guests, and any other current VCA Regional Members.

9:00 AM EDT...EVERYONE entering the Autocross area MUST sign the wavier at the entrance...NO exceptions. (minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian and said parent or guardian will need to sign wavier).

9:10 AM EDT...Remove loose items from passenger compartment and trunk.

9:15 AM EDT...Luke Pavlick, Autocross Director, will hold a Driver's Safety Meeting/track walkabout.

9:30 AM EDT...Track goes hot til NOON.

NOON ...Break...enter Tire Rack conference room for pizza (provided to all by Club) and a brief IN/KY VCA meeting (drinks are available from the vending machines).

1-3:00 PM EDT...Track goes hot.

3:00 PM EDT...Event over.

GENERAL REMINDERS:

This is an INFORMAL, low key, family oriented event...timing will be done by hand-held stopwatches.

BRING YOUR DRIVER'S HELMET !!!

We will break into 3 ROTATING groups...drivers, course workers, and those resting...NO EXCEPTIONS...if you wish to drive, you must work!!!

We need to abide by ALL of the Safety rules outlined by Luke...we are GUESTS at this wonderful facility...AND, we want to be invited to return next year.

REMINDER:

Our Annual IN/KY VCA Autocross will take place this Saturday (7/8/06) at Tire Rack, South Bend, IN.

As you recall...full event info and maps were sent out to members last week.

A "convoy" will depart the NORTH Indy-Carmel area at 6:30 AM EDT. The group will meet at the Starbucks on the SOUTHEAST corner of the intersection of U.S. 31 and 126th St. (noting that 126th St. is also Carmel Dr. West). This Starbucks is approximately 3 miles NORTH of the I-465 beltway's Exit 31.....RIGHT ON U.S. 31.



Remember to bring your FRS radios (such as the Motorola Talkabout)...tuning them to the IN/KY "convoy settings"...channel 5, security code 0.

BRING YOUR DRIVING HELMET !!!

The weather should be perfect...come join the FUN.
