Indianapolis Motor Speedway\'s USGP Fan Appreciation Day June 15...
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway presents US Gran Prix Fan Appreciation Day Sunday, June 15, 2003.
The 2003 Fan Appreciation Day will be geared around the Car Clubs participating in our 2nd annual drive around (F 1 road course) and our special car corral parking in the Gasoline Alley area for showcasing the cars. Car Club participation is key to this event and the display area where you will showcase your car, will be a highlight for the F-1 guests during their time at the track. The Appreciation Day is to thank all Car Club members who have purchased 2 or more tickets to the USGP and for the F-1 fans who have purchased 4 or more tickets to the USGP.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.imstix.com, or by calling the IMS ticket office at (317)-492-6700 or (800) 822-INDY outside the Indianapolis area. PLEASE mention your car club. As a Car Club member, you must order 2 tickets in order to take advantage of this exclusive opportunity to drive your car around the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway Formula One Road Course, all other guests will be required to purchase 4 or more tickets to the USGP.
Car Clubs will begin lining up at Gate 10 (off 30th street) for a start time of 10:30 am EST, June 15,2003. Ferrari, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, and Vipers will be the first car clubs to go on the track. 11:30 am EST will be the start time for Jags, Audi's, Corvettes, Mini's, Mustangs, and T-Birds. Car Clubs will be asked to display their cars in the highly visible garage alley between Legends Row and Gasoline Alley Suites. The Brickyard Plaza will also be available for overflow if necessary. Your cars are the show, and many of the F-1 ticket holders will look forward to talking with you about your cars. Lunch buffet ($12.00) will served to Car Club members in the Formula One Suites (Gasoline Alley Suites) while the live broadcast Air Canada Montreal Grand Prix Race will be shown on the closed circuit televisions in the suites, as well as the big screens around the track. A tour will be available thru the 2nd floor (timing and scoring) of the pagoda and then into the new Media Center. Merchandise will also be available for sale on the day of the event. Concession stands will also be open for those who will not be participating in the lunch buffet.
Post cards will be sent with the event and lunch information and an RSVP line will be in place to accept all reservations for the Appreciation Day.
