Can someone tell me the length of the bolts that fasten the intake on a genIII? Are they all the same length? I am going to be installing a polished intake and want to purchase ARP bolts to finish it off. I already used them on the valve covers which look great.

Might want to slap on a new set of ignition wires on while your at it. The bolts are all the same length and size, one inch. And they are kind of a pain to un bolt. Patience,patience,patience. By the way I get a lot of complements on the Billet brackets for my Motons you sold to me. Cleaner than zip ties.

Yeah,

New Moton mounting brackets are very cool.

Bolts were a bit long for the 2009, both bolts could have been 3/4 inch shorter, had to cut the one on the driver's side.

I bought them from Summit. 1/4 inch twenty 1 inch long.

I am going to pull an intake bolt to see how long they are. I am sure they are 1/4 20 as well.

Intake is on its way back to me. I still cant believe how well it came out.

Tom I almost shed a tear that bad boy looks so good. I tried to copy the install out of the manual and ran into some probls on my laptop. It was trying to send you a 35mb file I am going to bring the CD to work and try from here and send you the install removal instructions. Dang that thing looks good!

It took roughly 3 weeks since I had the entire intake done. Tony put some extra effort to ensure it would be smooth as glass. Yes it is my first time using Mirror Finish and will not be my last.

The website says they are polished. Looks great, I have never seen a polished intake that mirror like. I just wonder how it will hold up to engine heat?

I am sure there will be some maintenance to keep up the shine but that doesnt bother me. I cant beleive how great it looks also. On my black Mamba it is going to look sick.

The engine heat definitely will not take away the shine from our custom polishing services although we do offer a coating service as well at the customers request. It really depends on the situation to warrant getting the parts coated as I will explain in a little more detail below.

If the part that is being polished gets dirty all of the time, wet all of the time, not cleaned very much, etc then we would recommend going with our coating service on the part after the custom polishing.

However; I do not like selling customers something they do not need, so in Naders particular case he will not need the coating services as he keeps everything very clean all of the time. Again, engine heat will not be an issue at all...the shine will still remain.

Shandon thanks again for selling me your intake. I had the luxury of buying a second intake so I didnt have to send mine. Mine will be for sale shortly. I really appreciate the help with the install instructions. I really would like to do the install myself but certainly will need guidance. I hope you had the chance to install the new brackets as they will look great with the polished intake.

The total i paid was $557 which included shipping. Remember I elected to have the entire intake polished, top to bottom. I talked to Tony who mentioned he will offer different packages depending on how much you want polished. Believe me $557 is a bargain for the amount of work that goes into polishing it. Remember he first has to sand it smooth prior to any polishing begins.

That is without a doubt the best intake polish job I've seen. Congrat's. I've never considered doing this, never been blown away by the ones I've seen before, but this looks like it's chromed, amazing.

Makes me think about the top polished and runner area black, hmmm. Like I say, I'm really not a engine compartment guy, keep it clean & add parts that make it faster, but, wow, you hit the jackpot on this one. I'm thinking what this would look like with a nice set of Abs plug wires .... ohh so tempting. Post those pics when done, good luck on the install, can't wait to see it.
