Bat hey man, I am interested in dark smoked taillights for a 99 GTS Black. How much and how long it takes to get.. Wayne

Hi Wayne, taillight kit will run about $40 shipped. Full smoke turn signal/reverse kit $20. They will be available in the next few days. Look for my thread once I complete them ;) .

Hi Mark,

Are the 1st gen headlights the same shape as the 2nd gen? I'm planning foglight overlays too in yellow, ice blue, amber and smoke :) . Headlight kit will run about $40 shipped, foglight covers about $15 shipped ;) .

I think so, but I'm not very smart. I'll let one of the gurus (hopefully) answer.

I believe the fog lights themselves are the same size but Gen 1s have a lens cover.

Speaking of the Blue dude, I looked at your website and saw those blue overlays you did for your Z. Any chance you can do blue overlays for the headlights? I think my silver/blue would looks awesome with those if the MAN doesn't mind.

Are you referring to Blue Transparent finish? I'll offer that and yellow as well ;) .

Hey Bat,
If you should decide to take them off in a year or so would there be a problem either getting them off or cleaning up your lenses?

Not at all. I've had my Overlays on my other cars for a few years. Basically what you want to do is heat the vinyl up with a hairdryer and slowly peel off. Ususlly, you won't have any residue left over, but if you do, simply use goo off off ;) .

How come you didn't stripe your own car as you seem comfortable working with the material?

Bat do they surface scratch and start to dull out over time and can you notice they are overlays by glancing at them?
I understand they are I am just wondering if they are real noticeable.
thanks

Not really. In fact, alot of people think my redouts for the turn signals are actually painted! I use a 7 Year Premium Vinyl for all my applications, so expect long life from my Overlays ;) .

Good question. I just don't have the time to do a big project like that!

This may be sound crazy but is there anything you can do for the inside of our headlight housing. It seems like we can put a black overlay or something to make the projectors stand out a bit more. Sort of like what 1997 Toyota Supra headlights looked.

You're better off painting the inside if you want to go that route. Anyone sone this?

Sbkim,

There's a company that can probably do this for you. They've done it with several cars already..here's an example: http://clearcorners.com/products/infiniti/g35a/h_lamp2/

Theyre website is www.clearcorners.com

I'm guessing this is what you meant?
