no way to do it so you don't have to manually turn it on and off?

Where did you get the cord? Do you know if they make one for escorts?

vinny2, I'm not aware of a switched source at the mirror in my 06, not sure about any other Vipers. Since mine is pretty much a toy just turning it off is not an issue for me personally, might be different if it were my daily driver. The alternative would be to run 12' of wire from a switched source under the dash, up through the a piller, above the headliner, and to the mirror. Good luck.

I have not, as of yet, installed the invisicord. Presently I have the V1 wired to the mirror plug. My V1 goes off about 30 sec to a Min after I get out of the Viper and when I open the door the V1 comes on. Ive had it wired for about 5 months and I forget exactly what pins I went to. When I get my car back from DLM I am going to check this out.

So your's follows the pattern of the lights on the mirror.

They all might do that. I was just paranoid that my battery would run down cause I didn't have time to set and watch.

I will set and watch now.

Come to think of it, you guys are probably right. That circuit has a delay built in for the interior lights. I'll go test mine in a minute and let you know.

Added: Yep, the V1 automatically shuts down a minute or 2 after car is off and doors are shut. Good to go.....
