Is clutch master slave covered under Maximum Care?

My service advisor says no...and about $800 to replace. I can see why clutch wear items would not be covered, but this is not a normal wear item. I have 14K miles. For those of you who sell cars on eBay, mines the "manual trans" Any help???

If it is the slave cylinder that attaches to the transmission, then no. I had mine go out and they would not replace it, but they did replace the one near the motor, not sure if thats the same part, but I know I had to pay for a new slave cylinder. Does that $800 include labor? If not, then buy the part somewhere else!! I bought mine for about $250 from Chrylserpartsdirect.com or something like that.

Thanks, turns out they entered my waranty info in wrong when checking the coverage with DC's computer. It is, in fact, covered.
