Noticed this morning, about 2 cups of a pale yellow liquid, somewhat sticky, under the rear of my 2001 RT?10. Any ideal what this could be? Thanks for you help. Jack

The rear end fluid is very thick almost like pancake syrup. I would definitely check the rear end fluid.

Any smell? Used gear lube is going to be much darker than "pale yellow" and it's smell is very distinguishable, unless it's almost new. Brake fluid?

the smell of new diff fluid made me almost vomit as well, so if this fluid stinks like hell...that.s what you're aiming for.

But i guess he has fluid underneath his hood, because when the fluid would be underneath the gearbox or diff...I guess he wouldn't be asking questions, it would be clear enough

the only fluid that would come out a car that would turn yellow is oil contaminated with water, usually coolant. there isnt anything that would be yellow coming from the rear unless water is getting its way in there

I think what you saw on the floor was testosterone.
hahahah yes

Do you have any pets that hide/sleep under the car or resent its presence as an invasion of territory? If not, exactly where under the rear was it located? To the side? Center? Right next to the inside of the tire under the brake? Under the diff?

Or, since your Viper is yellow, maybe it just relieved itself.
