jack stand placement--rear

i changed my oil today, and could easily identify all 4 jack points. i found spots up front for the jack stands but the rear of the car was tricky as i didn't feel like taking down the aluminum undercarriage panels. here is where i placed the jack stands, where do you place yours?

I would not bother with jack stands unless I needed to remove the wheels. Instead, I jack the car up and just place boards under the wheels as high as I need the car off the ground, then lower it. You can also use ramps and just lower the car onto the ramps instead of driving up onto them.

If I was going to use jackstands, I would place folded shop towels on top of the jack stands to keep them from marring the underbody. Maybe some enterprising people would dip their jack stands into plasti-dip.
