Jacking question

Is it recommended to open the doors and pop the hood when you jack this car up to relieve stress from flexing? Nothing is stated in the owners manual about doing this, but the maual just gives basic information, not real world stuff. The reason I ask is because I had to do this when I had my Corvette, and want to avoid any stress cracks.

Never done it in 6 years. The frame on this car is so stiff, I cannot see this ever being an issue.

You're thinking of the old "F" bodies..... Mine used to chip the paint at the door edge every time I jacked it up.
