Love my 11 Grand.

You have your choice of two good engines. The V6 is the economical choice. Pulls well and gets 20+ mpg in all around driving. V8 HEMI is the power choice, and pulls even better.
Handles really well for SUV. Quiet and comfortable. I painted the recesses in the wheels and think it looks better and then no need for expensive bling.

Maybe the best all around vehicle I have ever had. Like taking it out even more than the Mercedes.

They depreciate pretty quick. The top of the line models, even faster than the base vehicles.

As good as anything off road with 4WD and electronically locking diffs.

We love ours. We opted for the V6 since it has right around 300hp, didn't see the tradeoff of 4-5mpg city/highway being worth another ~60hp. As far as performance, it isn't blazingly quick and requires some RPM to accelerate briskly...the nature of the V6 I guess with not a lot of low end torque. That said, we towed a 5000+lb car/hauler with ours and once you are up to highway speed, it tows great! Ours is an '11 and has the 5 spd and 4th is great for towing on the highway, not too many RPM and still good pulling performance. We averaged around 16mpg doing 70+ most of the 800mile round trip. Went with the Overland Summit which is the top of the GC line except the SRT. Have not regretted it one bit. The air ride suspension automatically levels the vehicle when towing and it has 3 ride height modes depending on the terrain. Interior was the nicest of all the 55k dollar SUV's we looked at. Fit and finish was great. The only complaint I have about it is the A/C system is undersized for the vehicle. It doesn't cool very quickly and won't achieve icy temps inside the vehicle even with it on high going down the interstate if the outside temp is greater than 90. We tinted all the windows including the sunroof and that seemed to help some.

My wife drives a 2011 G/Cherokee and loves it. Very responsive and quick. We opted for the V8 Hemi, I personally love the power of the Hemi. Rides very smooth and quiet, excellent fit and finish. I chose to go with a 2012 Durango Citadel V8 Hemi, hands down, my favorite SUV yet! Similar to the Cherokee, but with more cargo room. Also an excellent choice for towing.

Have an 11 overland summit and it is a great truck with good mpg. Have not had one problem is 3 years. The pentastar motor is great too.

I have a '98 with 167K miles and a sagging headliner. I'll trade it to anyone, even up, for a GenV car. :D
