Some pics of the Jesels installed if anyone is interested in seeing how they look. These rockers are extremely nice in quality. Can't wait for the rain to end to see how they perform.
Simms, you've got the best of the best! You are going to love them! Have Fun!
How much HP are roller rockers worth? And which are the best - Jesel or T&D?
Simms,
Did you notice any difference in sound (louder/quieter) from the engine or exhaust?
Great choice Simms! Jesel are better than T & D - and a lot of people know that T & D have been the standard by which other rockers have been judged for the Viper for some time.
Of course Jesel are also more expensive too - but you get what you pay for
If you ever install a more aggreesive cam - pre-lube the rockers and prelube the pushrods (where they fit into the rocker) before fire up - this is on top of winding the engine over or engine prelubing prior to first fire up.
for prelube you could use moly - but race Royal Purple oil will have even greater film strength and it will retain a film better. Redline might also work. The more common OEM oils are a poor substitute for pre-lubing heavy loads, but are fine once started and oil pressure is up at the lowest pressure point in the system.
