I was looking at this car and I saw these side sills that go under the rocker panel. I was wondering if they were custom made by Jesse James or if they were available on the market. I guess his hard top is vipermania and probably his dash trim is also from a viper tuner.
And by the way how come it has the old generation hood and hardtop but no side pipes ? The paint is sick :ooo:

Does not replicate exactly, Jesse's are open on the scallop, it appears the vipermed's aren't. Jesse's are also built of aluminum i believe.

Yeah that's what I thought too ... they looked wider to me than vipermed's
I wonder how can Jesse James spent time, money and effort to design parts for a single use and not produce extra ones for $$$

it was for his own car did quite a spread on it in a hot rod mag a few years ago. started life as a ketchup & and mustard package McViper, that was wrecked. I am guessing like the motorcycles he build there was a lot of one-of-a-kind stuff on that car.

This car was brought to us to verify some upgrades and trouble shoot some problems. The sidesills were destroyed from the car sitting so low so they were reproduced for the customer with mold rights given to us.we did make some changes that were needed. The sad part about this "one of a kind viper" which by the way is a 96 .All of the hype that was stated about special and custom internal motor parts was just that. The Motor was bone stock with the original composite headgaskets. Most of the body panels were from autoform. The intake was polished,he custom designed the valve covers, shifter and some other trinkets.Customer was also told that it was a carbon fiber hood......STOCK.Needless to say it is getting one of our hoods and we are in the process of building the motor

A call came into Autoform from a Viper friend of mine, Skeeter Todd. He is a designer for Biker's Choice. Skeeter hooked us up with Jesse James who was rebulding a Viper. Jesse placed an order making a point to pay CASH, this was back in his "Pay up Sucker" days before Discovery Channel fame. Jesse ordered a hardtop and windows, front fascia, deck spoiler and side pipe covers. Jesse customized the side pipe covers to use a rear exit exhaust and replaced the factory covers that were damaged.

The same whay he beats, pounds, forms, anneals, English wheels the sh*t out of a piece of metal to make a tank or other part for a "one off" bike.....because he can!

PHRTV had the show on again this weekend and they said it was a 97, but with a smooth hood and no outside door latches......it got me wonderin!
