I have had my 96 rt/10 (black) for about a week now and love it! Already took off seat sliders and made custom seat mounts and feet for it to lower 2", and took off the cats and muffler under side sill and replaced with straight pipe (love sound and extra power)! Now I am getting 19 front and 20 rear forgeline wheels for it and wanted to know the people with this set up did you use lowering springs or adjustable coil overs, what kind and how much did you need to lower? I wanted to know so that I could get everything before wheels get here so that I can get it all together at once. Also how much could I sell my 96 rt/10 wheels and tires for? Tires have michelin pilots with about 85-90% tread left. Thanks for any replies as I have been on here for a short time and learned a great deal!

Congrats on the new car! You could use eibachs they work pretty well or go with a set of penske's. The penske's are obviously the better and nicer choice but the eibachs well work well for a lot less money.:2tu:

Congrats! Where are you located?

I think 96 has the cast wheels, if thats the case, maybe 900-1500 buck for the set. I bought mine (wheels only from a RT/10 1996) for 900.
If your Pilots are old, they are not worth much...
PM me, I'll put you in contact with Dan (Dansauto) he has this set up. Looks REALLY nice!!!
