So you got the car home and you didn't know what the sales price was and you hadn't signed the contract? Or he jacked you on your trades?

Well I don't want to get into all the specifics, but my wife walked past the Sales Counter and the GM was cussing up a storm about us...so I am done with that dealer. I bought my first Viper (2001 ACR), a Durango, and my SRT-10 Ram from them. My wife and I just got a really bad feeling from them the night we bought the car (it was hard to say no Saturday night...that SSG was call out my name), then they try to do some deal changes on us later...forget about it.

Oh My God - The HORROR! What's up with the unfinished and unpainted garage?

Beautiful stable of cars! Those razor wheels are starting to grow on me.

It is a newer house...and I just can't figure out if I am done adding electrical. We had to run new outlets and add more light when I installed the lift this summer. I was just talking to the wife about completing it a few days ago. Needs paint...with some Viper memorability...

But come on don't you think the spackle really brings out the white in my lift?

Nice looking rides....

Where did you get your lift from? I like the looks of it and I am thinking of getting one myself. Any info would be appreciated.

Sorry it took so long to get the info...but I found them

Untitled Document

I thought for sure they were out of business, but I called them and got their VM. I really like the lift, but I have no idea how old mine is...it still seems to be in great shape.

Dude;

Change your signature as it is confusing me! Sorry, but do you realize you are getting a "woman-owned" car now. Ah....... my wife is going to slap me for that one.

Dude;

I have all the pictures I took of you washing the "green lantern", which I can post. Awesome colors, especially with the water on it in the sunlight. I would have to apologize that they are not like Jessica Simspon and the General Lee though. :)

PS Sorry Juli!

Dude;

Remember the carnal rule. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me! I just would not give them the satisfaction. Plus I think someone test drove the crap out of it. :)

They are trying to sweeten the *** as we speak, and if they were test driving it, was it on the new PS5 Sport Double D Cup Ice Demolishers (dropped it off with 115 miles and it better still only have 115).

Burt wants me to think about this Viper before I sign again...it in FL, but they will trade for the Venom Red one Burt already has. Just not sure if it looks better than or equal to the solid SSG.

Dude;

I would definitely deal with Burt. I still like the car with the Silver Stripes pictured but those "H" wheels just don't do it for me. I feel the H in the H-Wheels stands for "HUH?" However the H-Wheels can go on the shelf and you could just buy some replacement rims or something.

Or just cool the jets for awhile and see what comes up. I thought Dodge was trying to do Green runs on the overtime shift to meet up with demand after the original Green paint run? Can't you order one all how you want it? I mean you can't drive it in Colorado for the next three months anyway. Even if there is no snow, we still have mag-chloride on the streets. Might as well drive you car in acid rain, it will have the same effect.

Can you not order a new SSG? I thought Dodge's new motto was "you want it, we build it."

I don't think those H wheels would sit on the shelf for long. I think they look great, and so do plenty of others. It would be easy to trade them for the 5 spoke.

Don't know about you, but I actually kinda like that. I didn't think I would until I saw the pictures. Though I thought I would hate the Razor wheels too, but in real life they look really great.

OK...I finally made up my mind. I am going in this morning to the "right" dealer and making Coloviper (Rick) mad at me for getting the wrong vehicle. SSG with White stripes and H wheels. My wife reminded me how much...last year...I wanted that particular color combo (when all we had were those kind of computer generated color charts...its what I wanted). I was also hoping it had the H wheels, so it looks as though I am getting just what I originally wanted. Sorry for getting side tracked..I just got charmed by that SSG snake. Watch yourselfes out there...the 08 is a real charmer.

Sorry the pictures stink...someone else took them...should be going out by enclosed trailer early next week...I think the car is in Ohio.

Very nice. I am sure you can always switch them. I think JonB will be a deal with you.

Dude;

I will leave your name out to protect the innocent. :)

Actually I am very happy for you, and just glad you finally got off you butt and made a decision. :)

The good thing is you are buying the car I would really want (except I would prefer Black or Graphite stripes and 5-spoke or Razor rims) and the fact it is not exactly as I want it, then I will not have to drive by you house to look at it, each time I come home at night. ;)

Give me a call when you get it home so I can come over and take pictures of this one.

First off we know I am not the innocent....and second the dealership saved me $7K...wow...way to go Burt Dodge (shameless plug). But in all honesty they really are a superior dealer. :usa:

And with the way weather is shaping up...it might be at the dealer a bit...:rant:
