Here are some pics of an 08 style Vipair Performance hood, freshly painted this week with stripes, I still need to adjust the hood latch and the rubber bump stops at the front, but over all, it turned out real nice.

That looks AWESOME. How does the paint look in direct sunlight. We had one traded in that had an 08 add on hood and it looked great except for in the direct sun.

Looks fine in direct sunlight, I would take pics but the red reflects so much in direct light that my camera doesn't pic up any detail. Sounds like the one you got in trade didn't match the paint very well. Viper Blue is teh same way , too many people just spray the PBE3 paint code paint and that doesn't match except at night.

Yes it was off. We had to get the old hood to make it right.

They're the width of the stock 06 stripes

The stripes look wider in the middle where it falls off the raised center section of the hood. Just a characteristic of the higher center than the stock 08 hood. The hood looks good though!

For my Fiberglass Hoods the pricing is $1095.00 plus shipping, this price includes the hood vents that cost an extra $300+ for the stock 08 hoods.
My hoods also match up exactly to the 03-06 airbox ( including paxton airbox ), as my 08 style hoods use the same underside front part as my other 03 -06 hoods. The Factory 08 hoods will not match up to the airbox on anything but an 08.
Availability is... I have about 15 Carbon and 20 fiberglass hoods in stock ready to ship in the 08 style.

My 2008 hood fits perfectly with my Gen 3 viper? I didn't need to make any adjustments either? The 2008 hood was literally painted, and then bolted onto my viper. No Fitment issues, and nothing is rubbing against the hood. The 2008 hood matches perfectly to the airbox on my car?

Take a closer look, it does not seal up like your stock hood did, the 08 airbox and teh 03 airbox are entirely different shapes, sizes and locations.

I've taken many close looks, significantly more air flows directly into the airbox, nowhere else. I actually prefer the 2008 design to the old design.

This is the first 08 hood ive seen with wide strips, i think they look great w/ the 08 hood.
