Not a Viper story, but just got back from Carmel Ca, and Ford was doing a T-Bird photo shoot up there. 8 2002 T-Birds all lined up, hard tops and rag tops. Very nice looking in person. I think they'll sell well, if they're any good mechanically.

Yep, after a 30 years it's nice to see some style come back into car design. Now I would like to see them come out with some performance. How about the 49'? Are they going to produce that?

They'll probably move this to Off Topic. Don't get upset if they do.

My wife absolutely loves the new T-Bird. Classic styling, convertible, V-8, and none on the road yet...

We are really going to need another garage next year...

I work for Ford and there are a few 2002 Thunderbirds around in the executive garage at the building I work at. They expect the car to sell very well. They had the whole lineup of them at the Detroit Auto Show a few months ago. I have seen several on the road near my house because they are built at the Wixom, Michigan Assembly plant less than 10 miles away and they let employees drive them home for evaluation purposes. How about our new Jaguar X-Type due out this Summer, it looks pretty good too and the price is right. Oh, and that 49, I hope they build that. I saw it at the auto show and I could not pull myself away from it. Now if we could just get this Firestone tire debacle behind us.
