I have been considering going back to a stock flywheel from my fidenza due to the fact I think its just not for me. Would anyone be interested in an even trade for a brand new stock flywheel, my fidenza only has a little less the 400 miles on it (yes I know I need to drive my snake more) im not looking to do this RIGHT now but I just wanted to know if anyone would be interested in doing this.

Also I don't remember what it cost to have this one put in (and I don't want to bother Chuck and ask em) whats the average price to have just the flywheel installed (clutch has 400 miles on it too)

Thanks guys

I am getting ready (I know it will be completed before the end of Feb) to install a fidenza flywheel and centerforce clutch that I have already purchased... so I will have my stock flywheel and clutch available if you would be intersted in trading for it. I wouldn't mind having an extra flywheel "just in case"

It will be removed from a 93 RT/10 that has just under 26,000 miles

The flywheel and clutch are both fine... I am only replacing because I upgraded to a supercharger and the stock clutch is not going to work well anymore with my set-up

Thats the exact same setup I have (Fidenza/centerforce) the clutch is great but not a fan of the alm flywheels.

Maybe you want to twiddle with your throttle cable settings (driver's side opens slightly first) before you yank the flywheel. I've only had the lighter flywheel and when it gets PLSB, it's time to adjust the cables...

Tom, doesn't the cable adjusting ONLY apply to GEN1? I could be wrong but I was always under that impression.

*Cable* adjusting only applies to Gen I, but the Gen II's dual throttle rod linkage does have an adjustment for this exact same issue. Its a set-screw on the linkage - sounds like it needs to be adjusted (I've had to adjust mine).

Randy, thanks for clearing that up, makes total sense. :2tu:

I know how to "automatically" adjust the cables, pushing the buttons and putting your foot to the floor, but how do you adjust manually to intentionally make one open before the other? Do you just push the button on that one and slide the cable?

I have a friend with a '95 that bucks bad, even after we did the standard adjustment. Am I correct in understanding that we need to make the drivers side throttle body open slightly before the passenger's side?

Hey Ben, does he also have idle hang by any chance? If so, tell him to check his TPS/TPS ground wire. My parking lot bucking got REAL bad and adjusting the cables only worked minimally. Once I found out I had a bad ground wire to my TPS, the idle hang and parking lot bucking decreased to almost 0

Instructions with pics are about 3/4 way down:

My idle hang did come back after a few months and finally threw a low voltage input from the TPS check engine code. All I did was disconnect the TPS, blew out the female connector, reconnected it and cleared the code (I'm thinking the connector had just come loose). Problem hasn't reappeared since (about 1 month)

My throttle bodies were just adjusted (25 miles ago) but this bucking has been present every since the flywheel was installed, actually Chuck Tator warned me about that as well and like an idiot I thought I could "deal with it" and for awhile I did but im getting sick of it.

I'm good thanks....
Be back this year without a doubt...
I like it because the pedal is a lot lighter but thats down to the clutch not the flywheel. But i also like the way it picks up now.
Spoke to him today funny enough..He tells me he's always busy LOL.....
Did you get your HID's sorted????

Thanks guys, maybe I'll give it a few more miles (after all its been less then 400) with this flywheel before I make the final decision.

I have a Spec aluminum flywheel that I would like to sell. I ran it in my car for about two months, probably <500 miles. They sell for $499 from Spec Clutches.
I will sell it for $300 including shipping. [email protected]
