K-40 Radar Detection Unit?? - Anyone have any experience with it?

Just curious. I heard that the industry leaders are Valentine One and Passport, but this looks competitive:

Anyone ever use the K-40 system? It's a fully integrated front and rear detection system. They also offer a laser defuser option.

My buddy had the K40 and Valentine in his 911T. He hates the K40 and turns it off.
